While being a student-athlete at Southern New Hampshire University I took charge of the Social Media Platforms for the varsity Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams. As their social media manager, I had to engage with tennis fans as well as other members of the SNHU community. When creating content, my responsibility was to follow the SNHU Penmen brand standards and image toward the users.
The tennis team had no Instagram presence before the Fall of 2018. In order to create a strong social media presence to launch the page, I created a 10 day campaign in which I presented all the players on the women’s team. The campaign was a success as the engagement rate reached the SMART objectives in the first two weeks.
